Directions:

Blessed Thistle helps with smallpox, malaria, fever, anorexia, dyspepsia, indigestion, constipation, and flatulence. It was cultivated in communal gardens as a treatment for smallpox and other diseases.
Catnip is not only for your cats; this herb has great health benefits for humans too. It has been used to treat smallpox, headaches, scarlet fever, coughing, insomnia, etc.. Catnip can be soothing to the nerves in cases of stress and anxiety.
Benefits of Herbal Bath:
This herb combination can help alleviate itching. Bathing is very beneficial when smallpox is present.
Important Information:
Only pop the pustules 4 days after they have reached their final size with a sterile needle and wash them thoroughly with hydrogen peroxide to prevent pitting.
Chamomile or pineapple weed can be used to sooth eyes and help ease pain and inflammation of the eyes. Make it as if you were making tea, soak a flannel cloth with the tea and drape it over the closed eyes. It can be warm or cold, which ever the person finds most soothing. Please be sure to strain all plant material out before placing over the eyes.
Additionally, you can also create a 50/50 apple cider vinegar & water mixture for topical use.
Dehydration can occur. Use a thermos to keep tea warm and drink throughout the day.
Although there is a herb called pitcher plant that is used for smallpox, this herb is very rare and has roughly the same effects as the above herbs.
